Travel has, by far, been my biggest teacher. Over 30 years as a filmmaker, it has brought me face-to-face with innumerable stories celebrating human spirit, bridging divides, and instilling hope among future generations. Translating every journey into a visual experience is another part of the adventure. Inspired by the present and hopeful for the future, I tell stories that celebrate human spirit.
Nestled in the Kathmandu valley lies Shanti Sewa Griha, a rehabilitation centre for people with leprosy where each has their own unique story to tell, rife with trials, tribulations, and triumphs.

I appeared on the 4th Higher Self Expo to reflect on a filmmaking career where I witnessed, first-hand, the overlapping fields of science and spirituality through documentaries on India’s Shamanic community, Ayurveda, and Hindu rituals. The Higher Self Expo is a live online metaphysical conference that features people from all over the world to speak, guide, heal, and help attendees ascend to a new level of living and being.

I explored the journey of “surrendering” through my personal stories throwing light on the simple way of living; of being an observer to the ways of the universe and by being in the “Witness Box”, how one can not just work through the happenings but live it for what it is.

When I stepped into the world of filmmaking, I knew nobody. Not a single person. Gradually, step by step, I grew my network and have worked with hundreds of different people over the course of 30 years, a great majority of whom came on board for projects in the early years of their career; young, driven, hardworking, passionate, and gritty.
I love working with youth but equally value the wisdom and knowledge of experienced professionals.
